2015 Map of Second Connecticut Lake

USGS Topo · Published 2015

About this map

The Connecticut River headwaters dominate this northern reach of Coos County, where the waterway strings together a series of high-elevation basins. Starting from the remote Fourth Connecticut Lake at the international border, the river flows south through Third Connecticut Lake and eventually into the Second Connecticut Lake. This aquatic network is complemented by unique wetlands and bogs, including the expansive Big Brook Bog and Scott Bog, which define the drainage patterns of the Great North Woods.
