Siouxon Peak and Huffman Peak dominate the high ridges of this landscape in the southern Gifford Pinchot National Forest region. This 2011 survey details the network of lookout points used for fire observation, including the Siouxon Peak Lookout, Huffman Peak Lookout, and West Point Lookout. These strategic high points overlook a complex drainage system where Siouxon Creek and its many tributaries, such as Wildcat Creek and Horseshoe Creek, carve through the terrain toward the south.
