Sloan Peak and Bedal Peak anchor this high-elevation landscape in the North Cascades, where the North Fork Sauk River begins its descent through the Mt Baker Snoqualmie National Forest. This 1999 revision illustrates the convergence of major protected areas, including the Glacier Peak Wilderness and Henry M Jackson Wilderness.
