2005 Map of Spider Lake

USGS Topo · Published 2006

About this map

Chequamegon Nicolet National Forest dominates this northern Wisconsin landscape, characterized by a complex glacial topography of interconnected waterways and wetlands. At the heart of the region lies the sprawling Spider Lake, its irregular shoreline creating numerous bays and peninsulas that reflect the post-glacial lake-country terrain. To the south, the Tiger Cat Dam regulates the Tiger Cat Flowage, where the Chief River winds through the Chief River State Wildlife Management Area.
