The community of Stockett is the central hub of this northern Montana landscape, defined by a series of deep coulees and expansive benches typical of Cascade County. The terrain is marked by significant topographical landmarks such as Powderhouse Hill and Red Butte, illustrating a surface carved by drainage systems like Sand Coulee and Number Five Coulee. South of the primary settlement, the small village of Giffen sits at the junction of Giffen Coulee and Stockett Rd.
