The Hurricane Cliffs dominate this southwestern landscape, creating a dramatic vertical transition between Sand Mountain to the west and the high plateau of Little Creek Mountain to the east. At the heart of this terrain lies The Divide, a topographic saddle that serves as a focal point for the complex drainage networks of Gould Wash and Workman Wash.

Evidence of human activity is scattered across the arid environment, marked by a Mine Shaft and various Prospects in the south near the Utah-Arizona border.
