The Diablo Range defines this high-elevation landscape on the border of Santa Clara and San Benito counties. Centered on the rugged peaks of the Three Sisters, the topography is marked by steep canyons such as Harper Canyon and Little Peak Canyon. Water is scarce but directed by seasonal drainages like the Arroyo De Las Viboras and Arroyo Dos Picachos, which flow toward the more developed agricultural valley to the west.
