Tiber occupies the southern reach of this Liberty County landscape, situated where the high plains are dissected by the branching drainage of Tiber Coulee. The terrain is defined by a series of deep coulees and creek beds that move seasonal water across the northern Montana prairie. To the north, Badger Coulee and Cottonwood Cr carve through the open country, revealing the complex topography of the t33n r5e and t33n r6e survey townships.
