Bethel Ridge and Divide Ridge dominate this section of the Snoqualmie National Forest in Washington, framing the high-elevation basin where the Tieton River flows. The small settlement of Rimrock sits at the edge of the river system, serving as a gateway to the complex network of forest development roads and primitive tracks like the 4WD Bethel Ridge trail. This high country terrain is defined by dramatic geological features, including the prominent volcanic plug of Kloochman Rock and the rounded peak of Goose Egg Mtn. At the southern end of the quadrangle, the Tieton State Airport provides a remote landing strip near Milk Creek. The map documents a landscape used for both lookout and recreation, featuring the Jump Off Lookout and several high-mountain water bodies such as Lost Lake and Long Lake. This 2017 survey captures the modern management of these timberlands and meadows, including Soda Spring Meadow and Fish Flats.
