The Wasatch Range dominates this landscape along the border of Utah and Wasatch counties, largely contained within the protected boundaries of the Uinta National Forest. The complex drainage system is defined by seasonal and perennial waters such as Penrod Cr and the various forks of Little Hobble Cr, which carve deep canyons and hollows through the high terrain. Geologic landmarks such as Bald Knoll and Rattlesnake Mtn rise above the surrounding flats and benches.
