Wallsburg Ridge and the surrounding Wasatch Range dominate this survey of the high country along the border of Utah and Wasatch Counties. The terrain is defined by a dense network of drainages and named canyons, including Billy Haws Canyon and Sams Canyon, which feed into the Left Fork Provo River and various forks of Little Hobble Cr. The Uinta National Forest covers much of the southern and central sections, where high points like Rattlesnake Mtn and Bald Knoll rise above deep-cut passages like The Narrows.
