Lake Sonoma dominates the northern landscape of this quadrangle, its branching arms reaching into several canyon systems carved by Warm Springs Creek and its many tributaries. The area is defined by the significant elevation changes of the Coast Ranges, featuring prominent summits like Pritchett Peaks and Bummer Peak. To the south, the terrain descends toward Redwood Canyon and the headwaters of Peña Cr.
