White Top Mesa and White Point define the high desert topography of this region within the Shiprock Agency. The landscape is marked by a network of seasonal drainage patterns, most notably Burro Wash, which carves through the arid terrain. Human presence is primarily indicated by a system of tribal routes, including Indian Rte 18 and Indian Rte 118, which provide the primary access through this part of Apache County. The map illustrates a largely undeveloped expanse where the natural landforms of the mesas and points are the primary landmarks for navigation and land management.
