The East Fork White River winds through this section of the Hoosier National Forest along the border of Martin and Lawrence counties. The settlement of Williams is situated near a prominent bend in the river, connected to the southern bank by the Williams Bridge. The landscape is defined by its numerous watercourses, including Indian Creek, Sulphur Creek, and the smaller Silverville Br which drains toward the village of Silverville in the north.
