Anacacho and its surrounding ranchlands are defined by a network of seasonal waterways and livestock infrastructure in this southern Kinney County landscape. The area is dominated by the Anacacho Ranch, which includes its own Anacacho Ranch Airport and sits just north of Anacacho Lake. The terrain rises to Indian Head Peak in the east, overlooking the confluence of Stricklin Cr and other drainages like Arenosa Cr and Elm Cr.
