Angle Mountain and the high basins of the Teton Wilderness define this mid-1990s landscape at the edge of the Continental Divide. The map documents a transition from the protected wilderness area in the north to the managed lands of the Teton National Forest in the south, centered on the high-altitude transit corridor near Togwotee Lodge. The settlement of Angles and the prominent Togwotee Overlook serve as primary human landmarks in an area otherwise dominated by the complex drainage systems of the North Fork Buffalo River and Blackrock Creek.
