Ayarbe Spring sits at the heart of this high-desert landscape, located just south of the rising peaks of the Goshute Mountains. The terrain transitions from the open floor of Antelope Valley in the northwest to more complex ridges and drainages in the southern half of the quadrangle. A significant political boundary runs east-to-west across the northern section, marking the division between Elko Co and White Pine Co. This 2018 survey illustrates the remote character of the Great Basin, where isolated water sources like Ayarbe Spring were historically vital for livestock and travel through the arid Nevada backcountry. The map provides a precise view of the topography and public land survey system divisions, including t26n r68e and t25n r69e, which are essential for property research and navigating the high-elevation terrain.
