Bakers Mills serves as a primary settlement point in this section of the Adirondack Park Preserve, where the landscape is defined by a dense network of peaks and watercourses. High elevations such as Diamond Mtn, Eleventh Mtn, and Kettle Mtn surround several interior basins. Water drains through the E Br Sacandaga River to the west and Mill Cr to the southeast, the latter of which feeds into the prominent Garnet Lake.
