Bandbox Mtn and Tucken Mtn dominate the high-elevation landscape of the Little Belt Mountains within the Lewis & Clark National Forest. This montane region is defined by a series of significant peaks and deep drainage systems, including Gibson Peak and Sheep Mtn. A historical connection to the mining and transportation routes of the area is visible via the Yogo Trl and the noted Old Yogo-Town Ts, which cross the southern half of the quadrangle.
