The Kennebec River corridor dominates this Somerset County landscape, shaped by the industrial infrastructure of the late twentieth century. Central to the area is the Wyman Dam, a large Conc Dam installation featuring a Hydroelectric Plant, Flood Gates, and a Substa that regulates the expansive Wyman Lake. The settlements of Bingham and Moscow sit at the southern end of this reservoir system, where the river narrows and passes the prominent Big Island.

Away from the river, the terrain rises sharply toward Fletcher Mountain and Baker Mtn. This upland region is marked by numerous remote water bodies such as Rowe Pond and Clear Pond, alongside landmarks like Houston Brook Falls. Small-scale evidence of local utility and history appears in the form of a Gravel Pit and a hillside Cem, reflecting the rural character of the Concord and Pleasant Ridge Plt townships.
