The small community of Bradshaw sits along the southern edge of Taylor County, where the plains of West Texas begin to break into more complex drainages. This landscape is defined by the headwaters of several intermittent streams, including Mill Cr, Bulger Cr, and Salt Br, which carve shallow valleys through the terrain. To the west, the settlement of Drasco anchors a network of farm-to-market and county roads that intersect the open ranch land. A prominent geographical feature is the elevation at Moro Mtn in the southeast, providing a rare high point overlooking the surrounding creek beds. Water management is evident through the presence of Bluff Cr Reservoir and Downing Lake, which support the local agricultural economy. The boundary between Taylor County and Runnels County runs east-to-west through the center of the quadrangle, marking a transition in local jurisdiction.
