Siskiyou National Forest land defines this portion of Southwest Oregon, where the drainage basins of Shasta Costa Cr and Indigo Cr intersect. The topography is dominated by several significant summits and ridges, including Brandy Peak, Raspberry Mtn, and the high ground of Burnt Ridge. These peaks frame a series of high-elevation openings such as Whitten Prairie and Indigo Prairie, which offer a distinct contrast to the heavily dissected creek valleys of Snail Cr and Fish Hook Cr.
