Siskiyou National Forest and the Wild Rogue Wilderness define the landscape of this region along the border of Curry and Josephine counties. The terrain is characterized by a series of prominent summits, including Brandy Peak, Squirrel Peak, and Sugarloaf Mtn, which rise above a network of drainages led by Shasta Costa Creek and the 여러 forks of Indigo Creek. Several high-elevation clearings such as Whitten Prairie and Indigo Prairie provide breaks in the forest cover, connected by a system of established paths. Of particular interest to hikers and researchers are the Bearcamp Ridge Trl, the Hardscrabble Trl, and the Fish Hook Interpretive Trl, which navigate the steep elevations near Burnt Ridge and High Ridge.
