Brockway sits at the eastern edge of this eastern Montana landscape, serving as a focal point for the surrounding ranching and agricultural country. The town's local infrastructure is clearly marked, including the Po and the Brockway Cem located just outside the main residential cluster. The terrain is defined by a network of drainage systems, most notably the south-flowing Redwater River and its various tributaries such as Ash Cr and Dirty Cr.
