Beaverhead National Forest land dominates this high-elevation terrain, where the crest of Broomtail Ridge divides a landscape of deep gulches and seasonal drainages. The Gravelly Range forms a significant topographic backbone in the western portion of the map, providing a high-country corridor accessed via the Gravelly Range Rd. Sparse human infrastructure is confined to remote forest development routes and the isolated outpost of Clover Meadows.
