Cadiz serves as the central hub of this Trigg County landscape, where the Little River winds southward from the town center toward the eastern reaches of Lake Barkley. The topography is defined by an intricate network of waterways, including the Sinking Fork and Stillhouse Br to the east, and Beechy Fork and Donaldson Cr to the southwest. These drainages create a series of ridges and hollows that have historically dictated the placement of rural roads and homesteads.
