Cannibal Plateau and Calf Creek Plateau dominate this high-altitude landscape within the Gunnison National Forest. The topography is defined by dramatic geologic shifts, most notably the Slumgullion Earthflow and Slumgullion Slide in the southwest corner. These features represent significant mass wasting events that have shaped the local drainage patterns of Mill Cr and Cebolla Cr.
