About this map

The Klamath River carves a deep canyon through the center of this landscape, serving as the focal point for industrial and natural features at the start of the 21st century. The John C Boyle Powerplant and John C Boyle Reservoir, complete with a Fish Ladder and Gaging Sta, illustrate the harness of the river's power. To the west, the heights of Hayden Mtn and the Penny Spring Guard Sta overlook the river valley, while the eastern portion is dominated by the Chicken Hills and the open expanse of Pleasant Valley.
