The small settlement of Churubusco serves as a local hub, situated where the terrain begins its drainage toward both the English River and the North Branch Great Chazy River. The area is characterized by a dense network of country roads named for local families, including Patnode Rd, Campbell Rd, and Looby Rd, which reveal the agricultural and residential footprint of the early 21st century. Further east, Clinton Mills marks another historic point of interest along the English River.
