Como Peaks and the high elevations of the Bitterroot National Forest define this terrain in western Montana. The landscape is dominated by steep glacial carved features and narrow canyons where water flows east toward the Bitterroot Valley. Notable alpine water bodies such as Lake Como and Little Rock Cr Lake sit at the base of dramatic ridges like Brandy Peak and Koch Mtn. Access into this backcountry is focused along few established corridors, primarily Lost Horse Rd in the north and Lake Como Rd near the center of the sheet.
