Bitterroot National Forest dominates this high-altitude landscape of the Bitterroot Range, defined by the prominent Como Peaks and Koch Mtn. The hydrology of the area is centered around the expansive Lake Como in the east, which is fed and drained by a network of steep drainages including Rock Creek and Lick Creek. Further south, the more secluded Little Rock Lake sits tucked beneath the mountain ridges.
