Copper Mtn dominates the northern landscape of this Mineral County quadrangle, a high point situated between the Koegel Hills and the Rawhide Hills. The terrain is defined by its arid basin and range topography, where the jagged elevations of the Gillis Range to the west and the Gabbs Valley Range to the east frame a series of alluvial fans and desert flats. Notable among these are Win Wan Valley and the southern expanse of Buckley Flat.
