2021 Map of Corning

USGS Topo · Published 2021

About this map

The Missouri River serves as the winding border between Missouri and Nebraska, defining the western edge of this Holt County landscape. The floodplains here are marked by significant hydrological engineering, including the Old Channel Tarkio River and a series of flood control structures such as Winnebago Cr Reservoir 4-4 and the Fischer-Rieger Reservoir. To the east, the terrain rises sharply into the loess bluffs of Pigeon Ridge and the secluded drainage of Mill Hollow.
