Coyote Wells serves as a primary geographic anchor in this arid landscape, situated along the northern transport corridor near Co Hwy S80. The terrain is defined by the expansive Yuha Desert and the significant Yuha Basin, which are transected by the ephemeral drainage of Yuha Wash. To the west, the topography rises sharply into the deep recesses of Davies Canyon and Davies Valley, leading toward the southern border defined by Pinto Canyon.
