Divide Peak and the high mountain terrain of the Medicine Bow National Forest dominate this Carbon County survey. The landscape is defined by the Continental Divide National Scenic Trail-Wyoming Portion, which traverses the high ridges between peaks and draws such as Dexter Peak and Strawberry Gulch. The complex hydrology of the region is evident in the numerous drainages feeding the Little Snake River system, including N Fork Savery Cr, E Fork Savery Cr, and the descriptively named Dirty Man Fork.
