About this map

The maritime boundary between the United States and Canada defines the southern reaches of this maritime chart, where the Dixon Entrance meets the Pacific Ocean. Most of the area is dominated by the open waters of the Clarence Strait, a critical navigational passage in the Alexander Archipelago. On the western edge of the sheet, the rugged coastline of the Tongass National Forest emerges, featuring coastal landmarks such as Stone Rock and the steep elevation of Hadji Cliff. This 2021 edition provides a contemporary look at the surveyed Public Land Survey System boundaries, including t82s r90e and t83s r90e, which overlay the forested land and the surrounding sea.
