Dall Island, situated within the Alexander Archipelago of Southeast Alaska, dominates this coastal survey. Much of the landmass is protected as part of the Tongass National Forest, characterized by its indented shoreline and numerous maritime landmarks. The southern extremity of the island is anchored by Cape Muzon, which marks a significant transition point into the Dixon Entrance.
