Pleasant Valley and Dyke occupy the winding valleys of northern Georgia, where the border of Gilmer Co and Pickens Co meets among the ridgelines. The landscape is defined by its water and high relief, featuring named peaks like Sharptop Mtn and the long stretch of Outback Ridge. Water flows through these hills via Talking Rock Cr, Clear Cr, and Fisher Cr, feeding several private reservoirs and recreational bodies including Grandview Lake, Ellison-Stifel Lake, and Diamond Lure Lake.
