The Siskiyou National Forest dominates this section of the Oregon Coast Range, where the terrain is defined by the steep drainage basins of the S Fork Coquille River and its numerous tributaries. High points like Table Rock, Gobblers Knob, and Buck Point rise above the deep canyons of Wooden Rock Cr and Foggy Cr. This is a landscape largely dedicated to timber and conservation, marked by a complex network of National Forest development roads providing access across the Eden Ridge.
