Egnar serves as the central hub of this high-plateau landscape, situated at the intersection of local routes in the southwestern corner of San Miguel County. The terrain is defined by a series of deep drainage systems, including the prominent Bishop Canyon and Summit Canyon, which carve through the land north of the San Miguel Co Dolores Co line. Water sources like Overall Spring and Bishop Canyon Spring provide critical points of interest in an otherwise arid geography of mesas and draws.
