The glacial legacy of the Kettle Moraine State Forest dominates this Sheboygan County landscape, where the Sheboygan Marsh State Wildlife Area occupies a massive basin once part of a larger glacial lake. The northern portion of the quadrangle shows the drainage of the Sheboygan River through the marsh, while the Mullet River winds past the village of Greenbush. This area is a hub for mid-century recreation and preservation, featuring the historic Old Wade House State Park and the high-speed circuit of the Road America Raceway near the village of Elkhart Lake.
