The area is defined by a dense concentration of subalpine water bodies, including Colchuck Lake, Lake Stuart, and the Enchantment Basin chain which features Inspiration Lake and Leprechaun Lake. Glacial activity is evident at the Colchuck Glacier, situated beneath Colchuck Peak and Dragontail Peak.
