The Siskiyou Mountains straddle the rugged border of Northern California, where the Rogue River National Forest meets the Klamath National Forest. This high-elevation terrain is defined by prominent summits such as Figurehead Mtn, Mt Emily, and Pyramid Peak. The drainage patterns here are complex, with the Middle Fork Applegate River flowing through the northern reaches, while the headwaters of the Fort Goff Cr network carve deep valleys to the south.
