1996 Map of Glengary

USGS Topo · Published 2001

About this map

The linear ridges of the Ridge-and-Valley province dominate this 1990s survey, where Third Hill Mountain and Sleepy Creek Mountain partition the drainage of Sleepy Creek and Back Creek. Much of the central terrain is dedicated to the Sleepy Creek State Wildlife Management Area, preserving a landscape of dense woods and high points like High Rock and Pee Wee Point. Outside the state lands, the rural character of the West Virginia-Virginia border is defined by crossroads settlements and country institutions.
