The map documents an extensive network of water management features essential for high-altitude land use, including the Overland Ditch, Wakefield Ditch, and Roatcap Ditch. These artificial waterways connect a series of small alpine lakes such as Gray Reservoir, Patterson Reservoirs, and Brockman Reservoir No 1. Evidence of seasonal work and resource extraction is found at the Schoneman Ditch Camp and the Burdick Mine near the southern edge of the survey.
