Green Valley and the small settlement of Las Cantilles anchor this study of the northern reaches of the Angeles National Forest in the mid-2010s. The landscape is defined by the massive infrastructure of the Los Angeles Aqueduct, which transitions through the Aqueduct Tunnel and passes by Aqueduct Spring. This area serves as a critical corridor for both water and recreation, as evidenced by the Pacific Crest National Scenic Trail winding through the high ridges of the northeast corner.
