Hamilton Buttes and Hamilton Peak anchor the southern reach of this terrain in the Gifford Pinchot National Forest. This high-elevation landscape is defined by the headwaters of the N Fork Cispus River and the Cispus River, where numerous small alpine lakes like Saint John Lake, Saint Michael Lake, and Wobbly Lake are scattered across the drainage basins. The map illustrates a complex network of seasonal access routes, including the 2100 Snowmobile trail and the Klickitat Loop.
