The Colville Indian Reservation landscape is defined by its numerous isolated water bodies and high plateau terrain in this part of Okanogan County. Small, often seasonal lakes such as Figure Eight Lake, Freidlander Lake, and Joe Lake are scattered across the quadrangle, while the massive Omak Lake occupies the northeastern corner. In the west, the open expanse of Timentwa Flats borders the small settlement of LaFleur, which sits near the headwaters of Tumwater Creek.
