Kloucek Lake and its surrounding wetlands form the center of this agricultural landscape along the border of Bon Homme and Yankton Counties. The terrain is defined by the drainage patterns of Prairie Cr and Beaver Cr, which move through a grid of rural section roads. This mid-2010s survey reveals a deeply rooted rural community, evidenced by numerous historical burial grounds situated at key intervals. Researchers can identify Ebenezer Cem in the north and Reform Cem near the eastern boundary, while Petersburg Cem and Gall Cem are positioned further south. The land is organized by the Public Land Survey System, with townships such as t96n r58w and t95n r58w framing the prairie environment.
