Ladycomb Peak stands at the heart of this high-desert landscape in southeastern Oregon, overlooking a complex system of drainage and relief. The terrain is defined by the sharp transition between the Pueblo Mountains and the arid basins below. Water, though seasonal, dictates the geography of the region, with Willow Creek Pockets and Cold Spring providing critical water sources in a largely parched environment. The map shows the branching headwaters of several major creeks, including Little Willow Cr and the N Fork Willow Cr, which carve deep incisions into the land.
